Our first appointment to establish care is the psychiatric evaluation (~60 minutes) and is available to those who would like to see if they qualify for a first-time or updated diagnosis(es), those who wish to transfer care, or those who seek a second opinion. Note that we formulate a working diagnosis(es) subject to further testing or refinement as we get to know each other.
As it can be hard to definitively nail down a psychiatric diagnosis(es) in the first hour, we also offer extended psychiatric evaluations for complex cases. Note that we formulate a working diagnosis(es) subject to further testing or refinement as we get to know each other.
Remote QbCheck ADHD testing is available by provider referral for patients ages 6-60 years old. QbCheck is an objective, FDA-approved psychometric test that helps diagnose ADHD as well as evaluate the efficacy of treatment.
The cost of the testing is billed in two separate appointments: $175 for the test itself, and $225 for the test interpretation and treatment planning appointment with your provider (45 minutes).
Please note that an initial psychiatric evaluation must first be completed to establish care and determine if a referral to take the QbCheck ADHD test is medically appropriate.
We offer telehealth therapy for ages 8 and up. Our sessions are inclusive, trauma-informed, and tailored to you. We specialize in:
*Note that the initial therapy evaluation is billed at $250 to account for the additional administrative and clinical time required.
Coaching is available to anyone globally, not just Washington!
ADHD coaching is a collaborative, strengths-based service that helps you develop practical tools to stay organized, follow through, and feel more in control of your day-to-day life. Whether you're struggling with time management, focus, motivation, or getting unstuck, ADHD coaching can provide structure, accountability, and strategies tailored to how your brain works.
Disclaimer: Coaching services provided through Edwards Psychiatry are offered by an independent contractor and are not licensed mental health services. These sessions are intended to support executive functioning, time management, and goal-setting, and should not be considered a substitute for psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, or other licensed healthcare services. While our coach is experienced and committed to helping clients thrive, they do not diagnose, treat, or provide medical or psychological interventions.
Because coaching is not classified as a licensed healthcare service, HSA/FSA funds unfortunately cannot be used to pay for these sessions.
Genetic testing (via cheek saliva swab) helps provide individualized information regarding which psychiatric medication(s) might fit well with your unique genetic profile.
This fee covers the medical interpretation and associated follow-up visit with your provider (45 minutes). For more information on the cost of the test itself please visit: https://www.genomind.com/resources/cost-and-coverage
Includes assessing together how mental health medications are (or are not) working, side effects, refills, etc. Stable patients should expect medication management appointments at least every 3 months (longer than this and you may not need to be followed by a psychiatric specialist, but rather a general provider).
Follow-up appointments are billed based on length. Most visits are 30 minutes ($155), while extended visits (up to 45 minutes) are $225. You and your provider can discuss which length best fits your needs.
Groups are a form of treatment in which patients meet together within an encouraging and supportive atmosphere to discuss a specific subject for the purpose of therapeutic benefit.
Each group has its own specific eligibility requirements, purpose, and schedule. Currently we do not have active groups running
The cost per person for each group session attended is $75, but you will not be charged if you are unable to attend a session.
Other psychiatric appointment types include: Non-medication-based treatment plans, pregnancy/breastfeeding consults, form/letter completion, etc. Please note that due to complexity, these types may require their own, standalone appointment.
Appointments lasting up to 30 minutes are $155, while extended visits (up to 45 minutes) are $225.
Optimized Vitamin D levels are essential for mind and body health, and PNW residents are notorious for having sub-optimal levels.
Available with provider referral via a home "DIY" test kit.
We currently have availability for new client appointments within the next 1–2 weeks, with flexible scheduling options to fit your needs. However, availability tends to fill up quickly — to maintain the highest quality of care, we limit the number of new clients we can accept.
